So, here we are, the Madness has officially begun, the bracket has been filled out, and -- after an hour or so -- I can officially I haven't lost any Final Four teams yet.

I do have a fave, though: Murray State.

They're playing Colorado State right now and, listen, my fondness for them has nothing to do with their cool nickname (the Racers) or the fact that they were the last undefeated team in America this season or the fact that they aren't North Carolina or Kentucky or Duke or Michigan State or one of those other corporate powerhouses.

I like 'em because of Ed Daniel, No. 2. He has the coolest Afro I've seen in years.

Very retro. Very 1970s. Very Dr. J-in-his-Virginia-Squires-days, "Fish That Saved Pittsburgh," Darnell-Hillman-with-the-Pacers look.
