Statement issued Thursday:

Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control will hold a first night enrollment meeting on Tuesday, September 7 from 6-7 p.m. for their Exploring Animal Careers Program.

Students that are ages 13-17 are invited to the meeting along with parents.

The meeting will be held at the shelter located at 3020 Hillegas Road. For additional information and to attend the meeting, call 427-2590.

The Exploring Animal Careers Program meets twice monthly from September-May to introduce students to professionals working in animal related careers and to encourage youth service work that will benefit animals.
